NOTE: Review format for Video VHD release. Notice the LIVE Entertainment logo on the lower right. Studio Canal (see logo on theater used 1-Sheets) had full rights to Carolco library and the movie was distributed by LIVE Entertainment which was eventually absorbed by Artisan Entertainment. It is my understanding that, currently, Lionsgate owns the right to the film as they bought the rights from Artisan Entertainment. If you are still not convinced this is a video posters check out the box of the VHS (below).

NOTE: SHOWTIME logo; also has Viacom in the fine print. My hunch is this may have something to do with the work up to the SG-1 Premier. Stargate SG-1 ran for two years on Showtime starting on July 27, 1997. The SG-1 series opened on Showtime the plot being about a year after the ending of the movie. I have not been able to confirm, but I believe that the 1994 movie aired right before the SG-1 series premier. If you know for sure send me a note.

In reality there is no solve all international 1-Sheet for Stargate; each country/release had different posters manufactured. For this UK 1-Sheet, I have only seen one of these and bought it in this poor condition for that reason.
